How much will a quote cost?
We offer free, no-obligation quotes, whether the quote is made in-house or online.
How quickly should I contact Moving Home?
We are reasonably flexible with booking times, however we do prefer two to three weeks’ notice so we can be sure the date and time you require for your furniture removals is available.
What happens if I need to reschedule my booking?
We are happy to reschedule, where possible, but ask that you let us know of any change of arrangements as soon as possible.
My new house has stairs, is this a problem?
Not at all! The Moving Home team is able to move just about anything, just about anywhere. Stairs and awkward corners or unusually shaped furniture aren’t a problem. Our fully equipped trucks and professional removalists are able to deal with any size load and any style of home.
Are you able to store my furniture overnight?
We sure can! Moving Home can store your furniture in our trucks overnight, particularly if you need to move out the day before your new home is available. We can also store furniture in our trucks overnight if you want to spread your move over two days. This gives you more time to move out and clean your house before moving into your new home.
What areas do you cover?
We offer furniture removals to Geelong, Torquay and the Surf Coast, the Bellarine Peninsula, rural Geelong, Lara, Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, Altona and all areas in between. Ask us to make sure we service your area. We’re sure we do.
What type of payment do you prefer?
We accept cash or credit card payments. Credit card payments incur a two percent surcharge. All fixed price or quoted moves require a 20 percent deposit, as do all interstate relocations.
Do you have special backloading rates?
Yes. Our backloading services Queensland to Victoria, including Geelong, metropolitan and regional areas. This is a cost-effective option both for our movers and for our customers.
